The Antoa Nyamaa ‘Deity’ Chief Priest directed to overturn the curses rained on Nana Kwaku Duah Chief of Kokoso by Bernard Antwi Boasiko Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) popularly known as Chairman Wontumi over the alleged disparaging comment he made against Asantehene Otumfuo Osei II has refused to perform the needed rituals to overturn the curse.

This was after Chairman Wontumi denied before the Antoa shrine dispute resolution Chiefs that he never made the said allegation leveled against him by the kokosone Nana Kwaku Dual creating the impression that the Kumasi traditional council has resolved the case and have cleared him of wrongdoing.

Otumfuo’s Brempong Nana Kwaku Duah also insisted that Wontumi made the said statement against the overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom before about 40 people in the vetting room.

The Antoa Nyamaa Chief priest who was traditionally uncomfortable about the poor handling of the case by the Kumasi Traditional Council (KTC) refused to reverse the curse.

According to the Chief Priest, the whole truth in the case has been covered which makes it impossible for him to reverse the curses on the case which was resolved in Manhyia Palace unsatisfactorily on 29th January 2024 by the Kumasi Traditional Council (KTC).

The Chief priest therefore directed the delegation to go back and resolve the case again for the person who is guilty to confess for forgiveness.

Immediately after the Chief Priest made his decision known to the delegation some individuals went on their knees to beg Nana Kwaku Duah to give his consent for the Chief priest to reverse the curses which he objected and insisted the whole truth must be known by Ghanaians to vindicate his earlier stance on the matter.

The delegation that apeared before the Antoa Chief Deity Chief priest include the Ashanti regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako, Agric Nzemahene Nana Nkansah Boadu, Chief of Kokoso Nana Kwaku Duah, Otumfuo’s linguist Baffour Kantankrakyi among others .

At the moment it is unknown when the Kumasi traditional council will recall the case again in Manhyia Palace for fair hearing of the case.
