Deputy National Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dzifa Tegah, has commissioned 10 mechanised boreholes at Vume in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region.
The project, undertaken through her Impala Foundation, is aimed at improving access to clean and reliable water for residents of the community.

The intervention comes amid a longstanding water crisis in Vume, despite the community’s location along a river.
According to her, the commissioning of the boreholes is intended to help address the water challenge and improve the living conditions of residents.

The project also forms part of efforts by the Impala Foundation to support sustainable community development and improve access to essential services.
The commissioning, held on Saturday, marks a significant step towards providing residents with a more reliable source of clean water.
