Africa’s fastest growing media group EIB Network has signed a media partnership deal with Upscale Entertainment, organizers of the Mayweather in Ghana event.
Officials of both companies met at the Platinum Place offices of EIB Network in Ridge on Monday afternoon to agree to the deal which would see EIB Network strategically supporting the organization of the event.
Local bank, uniBank, also joined in at the ceremony. uniBank is also supporting the June 15 event.
The decorated boxer jets into Ghana on June 15 with an 18-man contingent. This is the second time in three years that the American boxer is coming to Africa. In 2014, he visited South Africa.
While in Ghana, he is expected to pay courtesy calls on the President as well as the overlord of the Asante Kingdom Otumfuor Osei Tutu. He is also expected to attend a fundraising event as well as a boxing bout at the Bukom Boxing Square.
