Ghana’s Normalization Committee As part of their effort to restore Ghana football to its normalcy, t have begun with the auditing and reviewing of the accounts and sponsorship deals of the Ghana Football Association under Kwesi Nyantakyi’s watch

Dr. Kofi Amoah and his team are currently looking into the signing of sponsorship deals done by the immediate past FA.

The Normalization Committee took over from the executive committee of the Ghana Football Association after a FIFA intervention following Anas’ video documentary which exposed the rot in Ghana Football.

The committee whose mandate began a month ago are already probing the sponsorship deals done by the previous administration.

“We are really working since coming into office. The Ghana FA’s accounts needed to be audited and we’re currently doing that to help our course,” Dr. Amoah told the Media.

“External auditors have been brought on board and they are in the process of auditing the accounts to know the state of things.

“The GFA also has sponsorship contracts with several companies and we are in the process of reviewing them in order to take decisions,” he added.

FIFA have mandated the normalization committee to manage Ghana Football until March next year.
