Supporters of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, under the banner of Team Ken, paid a courtesy call on Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu Bempah, Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, as part of Father’s Day celebrations on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
The visit, which took place at the church premises in Accra, was described by the group as an expression of spiritual solidarity and appreciation for the clergyman’s role in Ghana’s faith and political landscapes.
Speaking on behalf of the team, spokesperson for Kennedy Agyapong, Mr Kwasi Kwarteng Frimpong, conveyed heartfelt greetings and commended Apostle Owusu Bempah’s enduring influence.
“Today is a day set aside to honour fathers and father figures, and as Team Ken, we have come here, backed by our faith, to recognise and appreciate a man of God we deeply believe in—Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu Bempah,” he said. “This is not a political gesture but a spiritual one. We know the Apostle carries grace and has consistently spoken truth to power. We wish him a blessed Father’s Day.”

Chairman Akwasi Poku, NPP Chairman for the Tema West Constituency, also addressed the gathering. He lauded Apostle Owusu Bempah’s contributions to the New Patriotic Party and Ghana at large.
“We are here today not just to celebrate you as a father but also to seek peace and reconciliation,” Chairman Poku stated. “If there is anything the NPP or any of us may have done that hurt you, knowingly or unknowingly, we ask for forgiveness. We plead that you continue to intercede for the party, the leadership, and our beloved country, Ghana.”

The solemn visit featured prayers, reflection, and expressions of gratitude from Team Ken members, who underscored the crucial role of religious leaders in national development and political accountability.
Apostle Dr Owusu Bempah, known for his prophetic commentary and longstanding connection with political figures, warmly received the delegation. He offered prayers for national peace, unity, and wisdom for the country’s leaders.

In his response, the Apostle encouraged politicians to embrace humility, forgiveness, and divine guidance as they navigate the nation’s political landscape.
