Winners of Starr 103.5 FM’s Valentine’s Day promo dubbed “My Second Honeymoon” had the best of the month of love after they were treated to a memorable Valentine at Zaina Lodge in the Northern region of Ghana.
Pastor Jacob and his wife, Gladys who were adjudged winners of the promo together with their close contenders in a tie, Mr. and Mrs. Forfoe were flown from Accra to Zaina Lodge by Starbow on February 17 for a weekend treat as part of their prize package.
The promo sought to ignite the spark in marriages which are three years and more to come up with tangible reasons why they as a couple, need or deserve a second honeymoon.
The couples who haven’t made time for themselves in a long while used the opportunity to rekindle their love and have fun together. They were treated to exciting activities which included; Safari drive at the Mole Park.
The couples who couldn’t hide their joy after the special treat told Anita Erskine on Starr Drive the treat has rejuvenated their marriage.
“It was very interesting from the Airport pick up to the food, the Safari drive it was amazing. It was home away from home and we didn’t want to come back home. It brought us closer to each other, rejuvenated our marriage, we appreciated our love for each other… it was a wonderful and great experience, we were able to reflect and made quality time for ourselves,” they confessed.
Mr. and Mrs Dela Forfoe advised couples out there to make time for each other and must not allow work to take away the joy and love in their marriage.
