A man identified as Ebenezer Frimpong has been arrested for allegedly stealing an armoured vehicle belonging to the Ghana Police Service at Nkawie Market.
The incident reportedly occurred when the driver of the vehicle briefly stepped away, leaving the engine running, creating an opportunity for the suspect to drive off with it.
According to initial reports, Frimpong fled the scene with the vehicle but was quickly pursued by security personnel.
He was subsequently arrested near Mim, with the armoured vehicle successfully retrieved.
Authorities have not yet disclosed further details, but the suspect is expected to assist with ongoing investigations.
