MMZY is Nigeria’s music next big thing

With the hit song ‘Animal’ which he collaborated with Nigerian Grammy award nominee and the youngest son of renowned Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti, Seun leads his father’s former band Egypt 80.  MMZY, born Akachukwu Emmanuel Uche has solidified his position as the biggest star igniting to take over Nigeria and the whole of Africa’s music scene.

‘Animal’ has accumulated over 20milliion+ streams across all platforms.  His “Ballin’ released in 2022, also got high number of Shazam in Canada and over 1 million streams on all platform.

Before releasing his debut record “Miracle lover” in 2009, he had already collaborated with established artists and was formerly signed to KeraeRecords.

His infectious rhythms and empowering lyrics, fluent in both French and English  have captured the hearts of many music fans in Nigeria and beyond, earning the artist the opportunity to collaborate with other renowned and established artists  like ; Teniola Apata a.k.a Teni , Starboy Terri, Masterkraft, Mack H.D ,Mobi and many more talents.

Mmzy writes and sings in both French and English. A skill that he shows off effortlessly on his debut EP album, ‘ASCENT’, which was released on April 23rd 2021.

Mmzy also known as Afrofranco king was born on December 26th, 1992 in Abia State, Nigeria, and raised in Cotonou, Benin. Mmzy started his musical journey at an early age, listening and writing the lyrics to his favorite songs as a child and is known for being an immensely talented singer, songwriter, actor, producer, and philanthropist.

The fast-rising star is gearing up on his upcoming EP and has also hinted on featuring one of Ghana’s music songstress on a masterpiece yet to be released.

MMZY is currently being promoted by the Founder/Promoter of HL Entertainment, Harrison Osondu who holds an MBA – In marketing from Management College of Southern Africa, Cape Town -South Africa, holds a certification in Introduction to South African Wine from Cape Wine Academy, Cape Town -South Africa, and has a B. A (HONS) History from the University of Abuja, Nigeria. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Leicester, Leicester-United Kingdo

He also acquired a certificate in Managing Service In Food & Beverage from American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute and many others to mention a few.
