NDC Polls: Opare Addo, Hanna Bissiw retained as Youth and Women’s Organisers

George Opare Addo has been retained as the National Youth Organiser for the opposition NDC.

Opare Addo, popularly known as Pablo, garnered 533 votes to seal his victory over his sole contender in that race, Brogya Genfi who polled 508 votes.

Incumbent Dr. Hanna Louisa Bissiw has also been retained as the National Women’s Organiser.

Dr. Bissiw polled 433 votes to beat the former MCE, Margaret Ansei who contested her for that race. Ansei popularly known as Magoo obtained 362 votes of the total valid ballot cast.

The NDC’s Women and Youth congress also saw Abigail Akwabea Elorm Mensah and Felicia Dzifa Tegah also elected as the Deputy Women’s Organisers of the Party.

The two obtained 341 and 260 votes respectively in the polls held at the University of Cape Coast on Saturday.

For the Deputy Youth Organiser position, Osman Abdulai Ayariga and Ruth Dela Sedoh emerged as victors of the race that saw 10 contesting for the deputy youth wing officers. The two recorded 373 and 313 votes respectively to emerge winners.
