The New Patriotic Party (NPP) chapter in France has wished President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo well on his 73rd birthday.
President Akufo-Addo celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 – his first since winning the 2016 elections.
The France chapter of the ruling party said it is their prayers that President Akufo-Addo is given longer life and the wisdom to rule Ghana with a human face.
The France chapter of the NPP headed by chairman Yaw Owusu Kaning, Patrick Osei Ababio (Abisolo), Samuel Sarnge (Secretary), Frederick Addo (Strasbourg chapter), Mrs. Vida Owusu Kaning paid a courtesy call on Akufo-Addo to congratulate him as well as wish him well.
The president used the occasion to urge Ghanaians in France to live peacefully and to continue to fly the flag of Ghana high to boost the image of the Akufo-Addo government in the diaspora.
“I have known Nana for some years now and listen, the president will tell me, Yaw, I want Ghana to work,” the chairman Owusu stated.
“I want to use the occasion to wish Nana Akufo-Addo long life to see him through a second term in office.”
