The Communication Director for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dennis Miracles Aboagye says the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is going into the impending 2024 general elections with logic.
Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray on Thursday, Mr. Aboagye explained that the current administration has done better than the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and should be given the mandate to continue.
“The person promising you dumsor three years out of his four years. I have given you power for seven years and given you what you call dumsor for ten weeks. Are you saying that you will take three years dumsor over seven years of power? Even your child will be worried about you if you make that decision.
“I am telling you that we are going into this election with logic, no emotions, we have no ends. The macroeconomic indicators I mentioned earlier are struggling, and rightly so. Just like the UK is struggling, just like the US is struggling, Ivory Coast, Nigeria has the worst currency in the world today. We are trying to get out of it. But it doesn’t mean that we hand over the country to a government that we know cannot deliver,” he added.
