General captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, held a close door meeting with Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah on Tuesday in Accra after his recent response to his removal as Black Stars captain some days ago
The two had been at loggerheads after Gyan was stripped of the captaincy ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations next month.
A close source to the G-Unit revealed that, the meeting went on smoothly and that there was nothing cosmetic however both parties left the meeting satisfied and happy,
Gyan will be making his seventh Africa Cup of Nations appearance this June in Egypt if he makes the final squad for the tournament.
Appiah has named 29 players in his provisional list to embark on a training tour of Dubai.
Meanwhile, it is believed Nana Akuffo Addo will a hold a farewell dinner for the team on Friday before they depart for their pre-season training in Dubai.
