The Ghana Police Service has stated that there is no manhunt to arrest the Deputy Communication Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Malik Basintale.
“The attention of the Ghana Police Service has been drawn to a claim circulating on some social media platforms to the effect that Malik Basintale has been declared wanted by the Police”, the Police Service stated.
The Police Service further stated “We wish to categorically state that the claim is false.”
“We, therefore, urge the public to disregard it and treat it with the contempt it deserves”, the Police concluded in brief statement.
