Nigerian afrobeats megastar, Rema, has arrived in India to perform at the wedding of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, and daughter of pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant, Radhika Merchant.

On Instagram Thursday night, the ‘Calm Down’ crooner posted a video of himself where he can be seen walking towards a private chartered plane in an all-black outfit. He added ‘Azaman’ off his recently released sophomore album, ‘He Is,’ as background music and posted an emoji of an Indian tricolour.

According to Hindustan Times, Rema is charging $3 million to perform his global hit song ‘Calm Down’ at the event.

Canadian singer Justin Bieber was also paid $10 million for his performance at the event, as per reports.

Pop star Rihanna also performed at the event for an undisclosed fee.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will tie the knot on July 12 at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Centre (BKC) in Mumbai.

The four-day wedding extravaganza in Mumbai city is the final stop in a string of lavish parties the family has hosted since March.

Kim Kardashian and former UK PMs Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, former Swedish PM Carl Bildt, and former Canadian PM Stephen Harper among several other prominent people who will attend the wedding.
