The second deputy speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has revealed that Dancehall Artiste Samini is his favourite Ghanaian musician.
Speaking to Bola Ray on Starr Chat, Mr. Bagbin said he enjoys music, the beats and lyrics but when it comes to artistes Samini ranks high among all.
“I enjoy music, lyrics, beats and all but Samini is my boy, I spoke to him recently and I tried to meet him and he said he will come,” the MP for Nadowli-Kaleo disclosed.
Mr Bagbin is the only person who currently holds the record as having served both as the Minority Leader, during the Fourth Parliament, and the Majority Leader, during the Fifth Parliament, all in the Fourth Republic.
The outspoken lawyer is one of only five MPs in the current Parliament referred to as ‘The Pioneers’, because they have been members of all the Parliaments since Ghana returned to constitutional rule on January 7, 1992.
