Star Assurance, a leading insurance company in the country, has held a thanksgiving service as part of activities to mark its 40th anniversary under the theme “Celebrating 40 Years of Grace and Growth.”

This significant event brought together staff, agents, partners, sister companies, and other special guests, all uniting to give praise to God for the company’s remarkable journey.

The celebration featured spirited worship led by various ministers, including the renowned Pastor Cofi Boham and the gospel musician Perez Muzik. Their uplifting performances set a joyous tone as attendees expressed gratitude alongside vibrant worship.

During the service, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Star Assurance, Boatemaa Barfour-Awuah, delivered an inspirational address, emphasising the company’s commitment to honoring God’s faithfulness over the past four decades.

“What a joy it is to stand here with you all. We gather here simply to say: Thank you, Lord!” she proclaimed, reflecting on the company’s journey since its founding.

Ms. Barfour-Awuah, shared a powerful message – quoting Psalm 100:5 – highlighting the enduring goodness and mercy of God.

“When I look at everyone here, I don’t just see employees or colleagues. I see destiny helpers. I see prayer warriors. You are Star Assurance, and I thank God for each and every one of you,” she stated.

Ms. Barfour-Awuah then acknowledged the vital role each individual has played in the company’s success.

She further encouraged attendees to view their work as a divine calling, urging them to recognise that every task they complete is part of a larger spiritual mission.

“This 40th anniversary is a reminder that the God who started this good work is not finished with us yet. And so today, we dance, we sing, we shout, and we praise because the God who carried us through 40 years is the same God who will carry us into greater things.

Let us continue to pray for one another, hold each other up, and trust God for even greater victories ahead. The best is truly yet to come,” she added.

The event was not just a celebration of the past but a commitment to the future, with numerous activities lined up throughout the year as part of the anniversary celebrations.

As Star Assurance embarks on the next chapter of its journey, the company and its stakeholders remain united in their mission to serve with integrity and faith, driven by a spirit of gratitude.
