Former Deputy Minister of Information and former Member of Parliament for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh, has taken a swipe at the Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, accusing him of failing to adequately address Ghana’s transportation challenges.
Speaking on The Verdict on Starr 103.5 FM on Tuesday, Mr. Tetteh said the minister appears to be “busy for nothing” despite the numerous transport-related issues confronting the country.
According to him, Ghanaians are yet to see significant interventions from the Roads and Highways Minister that would improve road infrastructure and ease transportation difficulties across the country.
Mr. Tetteh argued that while the minister has been actively engaging in public activities and inspections, the impact of his work has not been felt by ordinary citizens who continue to grapple with poor road networks, traffic congestion, and transportation challenges.
“The minister is just busy for nothing. We are not seeing enough action to curb the transport issues in Ghana,” he stated during the discussion.
The former legislator further called on the government to prioritise practical solutions that would address the concerns of commuters and motorists rather than focusing on activities that do not yield tangible results.
