We wish to sincerely apologise to Trident Aliska Digital Tech Ltd, the owners of SikaFlow, for the incorrect use of their company’s logo in a news card published in connection with a Bank of Ghana (BoG) notice on unlicensed mobile loan applications.
The news card, which reported on the Bank of Ghana’s identification of 20 mobile loan applications operating without the required regulatory licence or authorisation, included the name SikaFlow among the applications listed by the Bank.
However, in preparing the news card, we mistakenly used the logo of SikaFlow, a digital business management and credit access platform operated by Trident Aliska Digital Tech Ltd, instead of the logo of SikaFlow – Quick Online Loans, the application identified in the Bank of Ghana’s notice.
We acknowledge that this error may have caused confusion and inadvertently associated Trident Aliska Digital Tech Ltd with the regulatory concerns raised by the Bank of Ghana.
We deeply regret the error and any reputational harm or inconvenience it may have caused the company, its management, its partners, and its customers.
We have taken steps to correct the error and reaffirm our commitment to accuracy, fairness, and responsible journalism.
We offer our unreserved apologies to Trident Aliska Digital Tech Ltd and all those affected by this mistake.
