Over 200 needy and less privileged children at Sempe in the Greater Accra region were left with joy as Wells Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) organized an end-of-year Christmas party for them.

Victor Nyadu, partner of Well Foundation, said the event was organised annually to thank God for the gift of life throughout the year and put smiles on the faces of children.

The event formed part of the foundation’s corporate social responsibilities towards the less privileged in society.

The benevolence act was fueled by a profound passion and unwavering desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children.

Its mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

Partner of Wells Foundation, Victor Nyadu who spoke to GHOne News said children can look up to them for their well-being.

Apart from, the food and drinks, the children were also treated to some good music amidst musical chairs and dancing competitions.

According to the Partner, Wells Foundation stands as a beacon of hope and compassion, fueled by a profound passion and unwavering desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, particularly those who find themselves without the warmth and security of a loving family.

Touching on the mission of the foundation, Mr Nyadu said, “Our mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to thrive, regardless of their circumstances, and it is this belief that propels us forward with boundless determination.”

He said, at the heart of Wells Foundation is an undeniable passion for creating positive change in the lives of the most vulnerable among us.

“We understand that children, especially orphans, face unique challenges that can hinder their growth and development.

“It is this understanding that fuels our commitment to providing not just material support but also emotional and educational resources that empower these young souls to overcome adversity and build a brighter future.

“Our passion is a driving force that compels us to actively seek out opportunities to uplift and transform the lives of orphaned children,” he explained.

“Whether it’s through educational programs, healthcare initiatives, or community-building projects, the Wells Foundation is dedicated to fostering an environment where every child feels valued, loved, and equipped to fulfill their potential,” he added.

Desire to Make a Difference

The deep-seated desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of children guides every action and decision at Wells Foundation.

“We believe in creating a ripple effect of positive change that extends beyond the immediate impact, influencing generations to come,” the foundation stated.

“Our desire is not only to meet the immediate needs of orphaned children but to equip them with the tools and skills necessary to break free from the cycle of poverty and disadvantage.

Wells Foundation draws inspiration from the timeless wisdom found in the Bible. Proverbs 31:8-9 encapsulates the essence of our mission: Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.

Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. This verse serves as a guiding light, reminding us of our duty to advocate for the voiceless and marginalized, particularly orphaned children who often face a world that can be indifferent to their plight.

In embracing this biblical call to action, Wells Foundation endeavors to be a vessel of love, compassion, and justice for those who need it most.

By weaving these principles into the fabric of our work, we aim to create a world where every child, regardless of their circumstances, can experience the love and security they deserve.

As we forge ahead in our mission, Wells Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing hope and building a brighter future for children around the world.
