Banking giant Standard Chartered Bank has launched its World Cup campaign to facilitate cashless transactions at the upcoming tournament in Russia.
The campaign targeted at the bank’s Visa Credit and Debit Card customers will among other benefits afford them the opportunity to win a package to watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
This is a collaboration between the Standard Chartered Bank, FIFA and Visa as part of moves to ease things for soccer fans including participating teams and officials. Two lucky customers will win four days package to witness the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The packages include all travel expenses, accommodation, hospitality, and $450 Visa pre-paid card among others. Head of Products and Segments, Retail Banking for Standard Chartered-Ghana, Bossman Kwapong announced “all our clients need to do is to use their debit and credit cards for a minimum of 20 times in the month of April and the top two users in terms of value of transaction will get to enjoy the prize.”
He reiterated “we are encouraging our clients to use their cards for all payments in the shop or online during the said month to qualify for the promo.”
