Starr FM’s Morning Starr host Francis Abban has been showering praises on his wife as the two celebrate their first marriage anniversary.

Below is an ode he slipped under the pillow of his wife on the anniversary morning:

Our one year anniversary

My love
It’s been 365 days. 525 600 minutes.
We have lived, laughed and loved side by side.
When we kissed this time last year it was surreal. Even the clouds had blushes looking down at us.
Today a repeat happened. It rained but stopped midway just to have us have our moment of joy and reflection.
I’m so glad I found you and long may this deep union continue.
Paps as you’d call me.
Egyirba the response.
Let’s grow old together.
Smile. God has been more than good to us.
