The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) has deferred its industrial action which was expected to start today, Friday, October 20, 2017, to October 31, 2017.

Following an emergency meeting, National Executive Council (NEC) revised their roadmap after an expressed appeal to them by the Chief Justice Sophia Akufo.

According to JUSAG, “our road made towards the industrial action has been revised to afford the Her Ladyship the Chief Justice to take up the issue with government and the judicial council on October 25, 2017.

“The above is to also afford government to deal with the issue once and for all by October 31 failing which we would be unable to succumb to any further entreaties.”

JUSAG, therefore, implore on the rank and file to take note and to cooperate with its leadership in realizing their legitimate demands.
