Former President John Dramani Mahama has paid a visit to veteran actor, Super OD known in private life as Asonaba Kweku Darko, at his home, Agona Swedru in the Central Region.
Mr. Mahama, who was in the region on Sunday together with some party bigwigs for the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) unity walk presented an undisclosed amount of money to the sick actor.
Some party supporters and bigwigs who accompanied the former President included the Central Regional Chairman of the party Allotey Jacobs, former Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lither, Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona East and former deputy Central Regional Minister, Queenstar Pokuah Sawyerr and actor Clement Bonney.
Super OD had a blissful acting career spanning from the 1970s to the 1990’s, starring in local Ghanaian series such as Akan Drama and Osofo Dadzie Group.
