VIDEO: German’s Arp goal voted best goal of U-17 India 2017

Hamburger SV young gun Jann-Fiete Arp received the award for the best goal of the U17 World Cup in India.

The goal came in Germany’s 4-0 defeat of Colombia in the round of 16 and topped the online poll, voted for by fans.

Arp received the ball close to the right touchline, burst past the defender and ran into the area.

The 17-year old then dinked the ball into the net over the oncoming keeper. The German’s goal fended off competition from Tim Weah (USA) and Sergio Gomez (Spain) to win the award.
