Multiple award-winning Nigerian Afropop Singer, Yemi Alade has described Ghanaian dancehall king Shatta Wale and Nigerian Singer, Wizkid as great artistes and superstars in their own right.
The ‘Taking Over’ hitmaker in a twitter post which has been trending on most Nigerian websites, disclosed that he doesn’t see anything extraordinary about Wizkid, and does not understand why people hail him. He added that he does not consider the Nigerian a superstar.
Asked by Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Wednesday on what she makes of the two artists, Yemi said they are both superstars in their own right.
“I think Wizkid is a superstar in his own right and Shatta Wale is celebrated by his people for his great talent and they are both great artists”.
