Scores of Passengers on board a Korea VIP bus are in critical condition following a head-on collision on with a Trailor Truck Friday dawn.

The accident occurred at Teacher -Mante near Suhum in the Eastern Region on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.

The Korea VIP bus from Kumasi heading to Accra collided with the Trailer while overtaking another vehicle.

The victims have been rushed to the Nsawam and Suhum government Hospitals.

A search on the driver side of the Korea VIP bus uncovered some quantities of Tramadol, a drug for pains.

An eyewitness told Starr News, “the Korea VIP Bus was from Kumasi and was overtaking a Vehicle while the Trailer Truck was from Accra so the VIP crashed head-on with the Trailer. Many passengers are seriously injured “.

He added that “we found out that the driver has taken tramadol drug. Because we found quantities of tramadol on the driver side, they take the Tramadol to harden them to drive carelessly “.
