Veteran actor and comedian, Super OD, will be buried at Agona Abodom in the Central Region on May 19, 2018.
Born Asonaba Kwaku Darko, the 84-year-old died on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Agona Swedru Government Hospital in the Central Region few days after a short illness.
He will be laid in state on Friday 18th May, 2018 followed by the funeral rites which will be held at Agona Abodom Funeral Grounds on Saturday.
A thanksgiving service will be held at the Central Presbyterian Church at Agona Abodom on Sunday 20th May 2018.
Super OD rose to the prime of his acting career in the 1970s and gained prominence in the 1990s for his comic roles in Ghanaian series, Akan Drama on Ghana Television.
The actor was part of the Oppong Drama Group which later became known as Osofo Dadzie Group.Super OD left behind 15 children.
