The competitive spirit & enthusiasm gives cause for confidence about the bright future of our party. I wish all aspirants good luck. Remember, there are no losers”.

The new leaders will supervise and lead the party into the 2020 elections against the ruling New Patriotic Party.

Already, about 11 individuals have declared their interest in contesting the flagbearership of the party including Mr. Mahama who led them in the 2016 elections. Other notable names in the contest are second deputy speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin and former trade minister Ekwow Spio-Gabrah.
