Romelu Lukaku has returned to Manchester United training and is being assessed ahead of Sunday’s derby against Manchester City, says Jose Mourinho.
Lukaku missed United’s last two games – late comebacks on the road against Bournemouth and Juventus – through injury.
Mourinho, speaking at a Friday news conference, said: “Lukaku is training with the team this morning.
“If the answer is positive – and we have of course one more session tomorrow – he is ready. In this moment I can only say that he trains with the team.”
