Seven people are reported dead in fatal accident on the Cape-Coast-Winneba road Sunday evening.
The accident occurred at a junction called Gomoa Mprumem on the Cape-Coast-Winneba road. According to Starr News’ Central regional correspondent, Kwaku Baah-Acheamfour, the accident involved a sprinter bus on its way to Accra from Twifo Praso and a Toyota corolla salon car.
The driver of the Sprinter Bus according to some passengers attempted to overtake another car on the narrow stretch and ended up running into the oncoming saloon car.
The Sprinter bus reportedly summersaulted twice in the process leading to 7 people dying in the process.
Several others who sustained injuries, including a 4-year-old boy were rushed to the Winneba Specialist Hospital for treatment.
