Apparently the body needs nine things to run efficiently, day in and day out. Our bodies need air, water, chlorophyll, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins and Amino acids and according to Doctor Basil Gold, when we give our bodies what it needs -nothing less and nothing more- we would be “taking care” of our bodies.

A lot of people want to take care of their bodies but just don’t know how and even when you give them the nine basic things needed to fuel the body as aforementioned: The question now becomes “How and where do I find these substances in a pure and absorbable form?” To be honest with you, all of these substances should be part of our daily nutrients but we all know that with our lifestyle today, it is almost impossible to gain these substances from the food we eat. Thank God for supplements available on the market but even so we must be picky with what we purchase and where, it has to be pure and absorbable.  While we try to eat right and live right we also have to indulge on a few other good habits to aid our goal of keeping our bodies strong and healthy.  We live in such a fast paced world with so much work and activity putting a lot of pressure and sometimes strain on our bodies and so we cannot afford to just leave it to chance- we must take control of what goes in our system in order to be satisfied with what comes out.

Dr Nonso once tweeted that people today place their health in the hands of God and the same people will not exercise because “no time” the same people will not drink enough water, the same people will not leave soda drinks alone, the same people will abuse antibiotics, if you were God will you answer?

I receive a lot of complements about the way I look, people usually say I look good for my age or that I do not look like someone who has given birth to two big boys. Some complements are about my clear skin and often I get asked “what is your skin care routine” or “what diet do you follow”  and I’d answer I do not keep a facial routine-which is actually true.  However I do keep a lifestyle routine which also includes a health routine and that is my secret and today you get to find out one of my successful routines.  So, next time you want to just envy me you must remember that there is a lot of work I do behind the scenes in order to appear “right”. While I preach wellness and self care, I also practice what I preach. However, consistency can be a challenge at times but I have a Khotso in my life that is sure to call me to order should I go off track and thank God for that.

Upon all the stuff available out there on how you can supplement your body’s good health, there is one concoction I call “begin your day” it is the famous apple cider vinegar and honey mix that has a lot of testimonies including my own.  I share with you how this is beneficial for your body:

Helps digest foods

Helps maintain a youthful, vibrant body and skin

Has a natural anti-bacterial property

Helps to retards the ageing process

Helps regulate women’s menstruation

Helps regulate calcium metabolism

Helps normalise the urine

Greatly assists in metabolic function

Relieves sore throats, laryngitis, and throat tickles

Helps sinus, asthma and flu sufferers

It soothes sunburns when applied

Helps prevent itchy scalp, dry hair, and baldness

Helps fight arthritis

Helps control and normalise weight

Now when you begin your day, take 1 teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar and 20 minutes before any big meal especially cooked meals.  Dilute with a cup of hot water with a teaspoon of honey, preferably raw organic honey.  Apple cider vinegar will prepare your digestive system for metabolic function, it is the best drink to start the day with as opposed to a cup of coffee.  This I assure you! it may not taste as friendly at first but it is a taste you learn to acquire along the way.  Now that one of my big secrets are out, let me wish you a happy healthy living!
