Ghana’s Caleb Ekuban marked his debut with a goal as the Black Stars defeated Kenya 1-0 in the final Cup of Nations qualifier.

The result sees Ghana finish top of the group with nine points, two clear of Kenya. Both sides have, however, already booked slots at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars after toiling throughout the match managed to nick a win to end their qualifying campaign in style.

Having squandered lots of opportunities in the first half, Coach Kwesi Appiah introduced Caleb Ekuban for Emmanuel Boateng midway in the second half.

The Trabzonspor forward received a pass from Christian Atsu, made his way into the goal area and unleashed a shot to register the only goal.
