The chief of Oyibi/Gonte, Nii Bortey Kofi Frankwa II, a suburb of Nungua paramountcy and doubles as the Mankralo of the Nungua Traditional Area has donated dozens of the Methodist Hymnals to the Kpone Mt.Sinai Methodist Church choir.
This Philanthropic gesture comes ahead of the church’s forthcoming biennial delegates conference which comes off from 8th to 11th August at the Central University College at Miotso Dawhenya.
According to the Regent, who during his tertiary schooling days led praises and adoration to the almighty with hymns, believes this donation will change the old way of worship.
“Singing praises and adoration to the almighty has been my Hallmark and as the saying goes “the old other changeth yielding place to new” this means these new hymn books will motivate all choristers ahead of the upcoming Conference,” Nii Bortey Kofi Frankwa II told the church.
Meanwhile, the Choir of Master of the church, Joshua Noye Nortey showed his profound gratitude by calling on other philanthropists to emulate the kind gesture of Nii Bortey Kofi Frankwa II.
Nii Bortey Kofi Frankwa also added that his doors are always opened to help the church to grow
