The various political parties who have expressed their disagreement to the Electoral Commission’s to compile new a voters’ register ahead of the December polls are staging a demonstration at Tamale in the Northern regional capital.

The action, according to the parties, is part of a series of measures they are adopting to register their anger at the decision of the EC.

The parties contend there is not enough time for the EC to undertake the exercise. They also believe a new register is a waste of resources as the existing one has been deemed credible by the commission.
