Actress and broadcaster Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku has joined the global fight against the novel coronavirus that has affected over 160 countries, with a campaign song.

The actress has consistently campaigned on her social media pages as well as on radio for people to ‘stay home’ since the WHO announced the measure as a means to control the spread of the virus.

Naa Ashorkor in the song titled ‘stay home stay safe’ appeals to the masses to follow all the guidelines enlisted by the WHO and the GHS.

She recruited comedian Clemento Suarez and singer DeeLaw on this masterpiece.

COVID-19 cases in Ghana now stand at 195, the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu announced.

106 of the cases are from routine surveillance while cases from those on mandatory quarantine remain 89.

Majority of the cases are in the Greater Accra Region with 174. The Northern region has 10 cases while the Ashanti Region which is currently on lockdown has recorded 9 cases.

The Upper West Region and the Eastern have both recorded one case each.

Globally over 961,680 people have been infected with the deadly virus while over 42, 000 people have died with Italy recording the highest number of deaths.
