The NDC’s Parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso-West-Wuogon constituency in the Greater Accra region, John Dumelo has pledged to give out over 4,000 laptops to tertiary students in his constituency from September.
According to the movie star turned politician, the move will improve access to the online learning that many tertiary institutions have introduced due to the impact of the coronavirus disease.
In a Facebook post, Dumelo stated that he hopes that to reach out to more students through his initiative.
“Good news for tertiary students in Ayawaso West constituency. From September 2020, my plan is to give out over 4,000 Free laptops to tertiary students,” Dumelo wrote on his Facebook page.
