Seven out of the Ten Multi-purpose sports facilities been constructed in Ghana to facilitate nurturing of sporting talents and ensure sports development in the country will be completed and commissioned for use by Government before December this year according to the Special Aid to Ghana’s Sports Minister, Kofi Asare Brako.

Kofi Asare Brako ‘Abatey’ in an interview on Starr 103.5FM’s ExtraTime Sports program, said the facilities were mostly at over 80 percent completion.

“I can tell on record that work is far advanced with the 10 sports facilities and in fact about seven of them will be completed and commissioned for use by the Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah before December this year” he said.

The construction of these ten multi-purpose youth centers, with sporting facilities, across the country is to facilitate nurturing of sporting talents and ensure sports development in the country and would have a 5,000 seating capacity.
