Hasaacas ladies midfielder Evelyn Badu stole the headlines in Ghana after her performances in the group stages of the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions league in Egypt. Badu scored a brace in Hasaacas’ first group game against Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinea and was awarded the woman of the match. She repeated the feat in their game against Malian side AS Mande. With her 4 goals scored in the championship, Badu is currently leading the goal queen chart in the Champions League.

In an exclusive interview with Starr FM Sports, the 19-year old has played down her exploits at the championship so far as she believes she can do more.

“For me I have not achieved anything yet, I have not done anything. My performance so far is just the beginning of my breakthrough, I am not proud of myself and I can only boast of my performance if I am able to lift the trophy with my team” Evelyn Badu said.

Hasaacas ladies have booked their spot at the semi-final stage of the competition after the won the group with seven points after two wins and a draw in the group.
