The Black Stars of Ghana have dropped positions on the latest rankings released by the world football governing body, FIFA today.

The four time African Champions dropped nine places and are now ranked the 61st best men’s national team in the world according to the February rankings.

In Africa, Ghana can’t be found in the top ten (10) best male national team on the Africa rankings following their worst performance ever in the 2021 African Cup of Nations staged in Cameroon. They are currently eleventh on the rankings in Africa meaning it is the worst-ever place for the Stars in the last decade.

After winning their first CAF Africa Cup of Nations, the Teranga Lions of Senegal remain on top in Africa and climbs to the 18th position in the world rankings, which is their highest ever position.

Gambia moves up to 125th place globally with highest points gained in the last two months.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 31 March 2022
