Asante Kotoko’s attacker, Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga has been named as the Ghana Premier league (GPL) Player of the Month for January.
Etouga, who currently leads the GPL’s top scorers chart (13 goals) scored five goals in the month of January.
The Cameroonian forward also won the Most Valuable Player in two matches in January.
Mbella was adjudged winner after beating competition from Yaw Annor of Ashantigold and Umar Bashiru of Karela FC.
The Porcupine Warrior is expected to receive a NASCO television set from Electroland Ghana Limited.
