Former Black Stars defender Joe Addo has expressed his disgust with the part time role of Ghana’s coach Otto Addo heading into the World Cup.

According to him, he is at a loss as to why Ghana will engage in such an adventure with a coach heading into the most important tournament of the nation’s footballing history.

Ghana is heading to the Mundial with Otto Addo as its coach on a part time basis as he still works with German club Borussia Dortmund as a chief Scout.

A move Joe Addo believes is a wrong decision and prefers the nation acquires a full time coach to lead the team at the Mundial.

Speaking on SoccerChat on GHOne TV, the ex defender was livid when he was quizzed on the coaching arrangement for Ghana’s campaign at the World Cup.

“You’re going into the most important tournament with a part time coach? Are you kidding me, in this day and age? We must have a substantive Coach to go to World Cup. It’s either we have a substantive coach or we don’t have a coach.”
Joe Addo said on GHOne TV.

The World Cup kicks off in exactly thirty (30) days in Qatar and Ghana has been paired in a group with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
