Godfred Abugri Atibila, thanks so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to write this article.

I have read in full your piece and have the following observations:

  1. You ‘failed’ or ‘refused’ to incorporate into your article the several steps taken by the NDC regional chairman Alhaji Bolnaba Mumuni to get Hon Azimbe on board in respect of the ‘pseudo’ unity you purport to be championing. May be, Hon Azimbe did not also brief you on the several meetings he had with different people in respect of the unity so desired. I can tell you on authority that Alhaji Bolnaba Mumuni, you accused of plotting against Azimbe’s candidature rather helped him in various ways, especially during the campaign season and he knows, and cannot dey it!
  2. You flatly ignored the efforts and steps also taken by Hon Dr. Robert Kuganab Lem to get Hon Azimbe Simon into the fold of the NDC is also deliberately conspicuously missing in your article.
  3. As part of the reconciliation process, Mr Imoro Mahamudu, the Binduri Constituency Secretary elect at the time was physically attacked by Hon Azimbe’s brothers at his residence when he went to greet him after he Azimbe lost the primaries to Dr Robert Kuganab Lem. Indeed, what you did instead was to actualize ‘your slogan’ No 9 No 10.
  4. Interestingly, but surprisingly you are here crying on roof tops pretending to be seeking unity in the interest of the NDC party after executing your ‘shirt and blouse’.
  5. Your recommendations, I leave that to the powers that be in the NDC, both regional and national.
  6. My humblest admonition to you is, please stop courting hatred and disaffection for Hon Azimbe through your covert and overt actions and inactions on social media. I say this, because there are thousands of decent minded people and decerning readers on the platform who seldom would post a comment but knows the facts and the truth.

I come in peace ✌
Bernard Abindaw

Sincerely yours,
