Popular Movie Star, John Dumelo says he will contest in the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary primaries in the Ayawaso West-Wuogon constituency.
The NDC has opened nominations across the country for its Parliamentary primaries ahead of the 2024 election.
In a tweet on Sunday, the actor cum farmer stated that after some consultation he has decided to stage a comeback.
“After an extensive consultation with my God, my family and our party faithfuls in Ayawaso West Wuogon! This’s the second coming,” he wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, in the hotly contested 2020 election he lost his bid to go to Parliament after he was defeated by Lydia Alhassan of the NPP.
Lydia Alhassan polled 39,8521 while Dumelo garnered 37,778 votes.
