Former President John Mahama has assured Ghanaians teachers across the country of better days under the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
According to Mr. Mahama, improving teaching and learning must be a top priority for Ghana as the nation forge ahead towards a more prosperous future.
“Teachers are the backbone of our education system, and we must provide them with the resources, tools, support, and training to enable them to deliver good quality education to our children.
“To this end, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) remains committed to investing in teacher education and professional development programmes,” the former President stated in a a press release to commemorate World Teachers Day celebration.
