The special aide to former President John Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari has said the Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia presided over an abysmal, shambolic economic team ever.

This follows Vice President Bawumia comments that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer, John Mahama does not understand the 24-hour economy policy he is proposing.

Dr. Bawumia further stated that the 24-hour economy policy is being implemented in Ghana already at hospitals, fuel companies, among others.

Speaking on State of Affairs on GHOne TV with Francis Abban Monday, the special aide to Mr. Mahama indicated that Vice President Bawumia has lost ideas hence he cannot see 24-hour economy as doable.

“This is a man who proclaims to know it all who has actually presided over the most abysmal, shambolic economic team that anybody could possibly find. I dare say he has run out of ideas. Sometimes when there is a certain lack of ability to conceive of anything to make you sound believable.

“Because of course over the years he has also lost all the credibility that he arrived with. I think that when it comes to these campaign conversations, your credibility, your integrity and believability are very important,” madam Mogtari stated.

She continued: “At the time when the Mills-Mahama administration managed to keep this economy on a single digit inflation over a year. We had individuals in the opposition at the time call them Mr. Do-Little. Sometimes there is a way that we try to be-little, we try to scoff at, we try to deprecate the convincing arguments made by your opponent.”

Madam Mogtari further stated Dr. Bawumia has failed to show maturity in agreeing to Mr. Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy.
