Manso took charge of Gold Stars’ first game since Michael Osei’s departure, with Alex Aso’s brace and Prince Kwabena Owusu’s third goal securing their escape from relegation.

Aso broke the deadlock to put the Miners ahead in the first half, followed by Owusu’s goal to secure the victory for The Miners in the second half.

Gold Stars end 9-match winless streak, moving up 14th with 15 points. Samartex disappointed as Timber Giants couldn’t secure back-to-back away wins.
