Ghana has been eliminated from the 2024 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations after a defeat to Angola on Monday night.
Ghana faced Angola in a must-win match looking to give themselves a chance of progressing from the group stage but However, ended up on the losing side once again as they lost 11-3.
Angola entered the game with three points after winning against Zambia in their second Group A game.
The Sable Antelopes of Angola dominated against Ghana, dominating both halves of the tournament, ultimately ending Ghana’s campaign.
Ghana’s defeat leaves Angola with six points in the group games, three points behind Morocco, who also defeated Zambia.
Ghana failed to gain a point in Morocco after three games, losing to Zambia, the hosts, and Angola.
The Atlas Lions face Group B runners-up in the semifinals on 19 April, while Angola faces the Group B winner on the same day at Prince Moulay Abdellah Hall.
