Actress Fella Makafui has declared she will not cover the tattoo of her estranged husband, rapper Medikal, despite their ongoing divorce.

Speaking during a media tour for her new movie premiere, Fella emphasized her respect for Medikal, who is the father of their child.

In an interview with GH Page TV, Fella reflected on the significance of the tattoo, which features Medikal’s first name, Samuel, along with half of a lion’s face. This tattoo is part of a matching set; Medikal has the other half of the lion’s face inked on his body.

“It’s going to be there forever. If I had plans of taking it off, I would have taken it off already. I have so much respect for Medikal. We have good, amazing moments, and we have brought up a beautiful product, Island. Why should I take it off?” Fella stated.

Contrastingly, Medikal has chosen to conceal the tattoo of Fella Makafui’s name on his body. The rapper explained that his decision was driven by a desire to avoid any potential discomfort for future partners.

“I wouldn’t want my new partner to be confronted with reminders of my past whenever we’re together intimately,” Medikal elaborated.

The couple, who are in the process of officially ending their four-year marriage, are committed to co-parenting their daughter, Island. Despite their differences, Fella’s decision to keep the tattoo underscores the positive aspects of their shared history.
