Black Stars and West Ham United midfielder, Mohammed Kudus has been adjudged the best football player in Ghana for the second year running at the Ghana Football Awards held on Saturday at the Dome at Accra International Conference Center.
Kudus, who scored 13 goals and recorded 6 assits for West Ham United in his first season, fought off competition for the highest award of the night from Fatawu Ishahaku, Osman Bukari and Inaki Williams.
The “starboy” also took home the “Goal of the Year” award in a night where Black Stars legends John Mensah, John Painstill and Agyeman Badu graced the occasion with Ghana’s Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif.
The awards scheme in its 6th year also recognised the following personalities, clubs, and corporate bodies:
Women’s Coach of the Season- Yusif Basigi (Hasaacas Ladies)
Men’s coach of the season – Mr. Nurudeen Amadu( Samartex FC)
Dreams FC- Most Vibrant Club On Social Media
Special Award – Black Challenge (For winning the AAFCON)
Female Team of the Year- Hasaacas Ladies
Male Team of the Year- Samartex FC
Thumbs Up Award – MTN Ghana

Living Legend Award- Adjoa Bayor

Goalkeeper of the Year – Kofi Baah (Samartex FC)
Best Ghanaian Club CEO- Richard Duah Nsenkyire (Samartex FC)
Women Footballer Of The Year – Jennifer Kankam Yeboah (Zed FC)
