Malik Basintale the Deputy National Communication Officer of the NDC has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its flag bearer, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, of plagiarizing policies from their 2020 manifesto.
According to Malik, NPP officials presented evidence of over 50 stolen policies, including promises of free tertiary education for people with disabilities, abolishing e-levy, establishing a women’s bank, and strengthening the Fintech industry with $50 million.
“Bawumia has stolen our policies and put them in their manifesto. He’s bereft of ideas and solutions. Ghanaians deserve original ideas, not stolen promises.” Malik stated in an interview with Joshua Kodjo Mensah on GHOne TV.
The NDC claims that Bawumia’s lack of vision and solutions to Ghana’s problems has led him to copy policies from their 2020 manifesto.
“Bawumia has been in power for eight years and has failed to address the country’s challenges. Now, he’s resorting to plagiarism,” Malik added.
The NDC has vowed to repeat its policies, believing they remain the solution to Ghana’s problems.
